Sports & Wellbeing Analytics was founded in 2016 in Swansea by a small group of investors with the goal of applying science and technology to real-world wellbeing challenges through real-time analytics.
We work closely with Swansea University for scientific research, Keytree Limited for technology solutions, and Philtronics for electronic components, all supported by enterprise-grade infrastructure through SAP Cloud Platform.
Our initial focus was on monitoring head impacts in contact sports, specifically Rugby Union. In April 2019, we announced a partnership with OPRO, the global leader in technically advanced mouthguards and a winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2019.
